What Kind of HR Professional Are You?

What does it mean to be an HR professional in today’s workforce? It was not all that long ago that a majority of HR professionals fulfilled the procedural roles of filing forms, tracking time cards, processing payroll, and doing whatever other important but tedious duties were required to keep the nuts and bolts of a workplace in order. Oh, how things have changed!

Over the past few decades, many HR roles have experienced a considerable shift toward a more strategic function, expedited by the operational complications that came as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic that has challenged workforce operations at a global level. Suddenly business leaders had a groundswell of people issues to address and leaned on their HR professionals to not only finds a solution, but to chart the path to moving forward.
