Email Whitelist Instructions

Your providers do the best they can to keep spam out, but sometimes the systems they use mistakenly catch good mail along with it.

 

So- We ask that you add us to your trusted list of senders, contacts or address book. All also known as "Whitelisting."

 

If you are not seeing an emails from HR Daily Advisor in your Inbox, they may have mistakenly been sent to your spam folder.

 

Please open your spam folder and if you find an email from HR Daily Advisor open it and mark it as "Not spam".

 

HR Daily Advisor email's are sent from various domains depending on what you have signed up for:

Gmail

Here's how to whitelist an email address in Gmail quickly and easily.

Gmail Mobile App

  1. Open the Gmail application
  2. Navigate to Spam or Junk folder.
  3. Click on the message you wish to view.
  4. Select the option "Report no spam"
  5. You will now receive messages from this sender as normal.

Gmail Tabs

If you are using Gmail Tabs such as Promotions, please open the Promotions tab and complete the following:

 

  1. Look for the email from HR Daily Advisor
  2. Grab and drag the email to the Primary Inbox tab.
  3. After doing so, you should receive an alert. Click "Yes" for future messages from HRDailyAdvisor@enews.blr.com
  4. You should start seeing HR Daily Advisor in your Primary Inbox tab.

Yahoo! Mail

If you have not received an email from HR Daily Advisor check your Spam Folder.


If you see an email from HR Daily Advisor complete the following steps:
 

  1. Please open the email.
  2. Next click the Not Spam button on the top toolbar.

 

To ensure delivery: Create a filter to automatically send email from HR Daily Advisor to your Inbox and complete the following:
 

  1. Move your mouse over or tap the Gear icon in the top right navigation bar.
  2. Select Settings from the list that drops down.
  3. Choose Filters located on the left side of the page.
  4. Click the Add button on the Filters page.
  5. Create a name such as Whitelist in the Filter name field.
  6. In the From field leave the default contains selected.
  7. Enter our email address HRDailyAdvisor@enews.blr.com in the text box next to Contains.
  8. Choose the destination folder to which you would like the message delivered. For example: Inbox.
  9. Click or tap Save.
  10. You will see in the next screen -Deliver to Inbox if From contains HR Daily Advisor.
  11. Click or tap Save on this screen.
  12. You will be returned to your Yahoo! Inbox.

iPhone Mail App

iPhone Mail identifies most junk mail (spam) sent to your @icloud.com address or aliases, but it can mistakenly move email to your Junk mail folder.

 

Periodically check the Junk folder for email messages that were marked as junk mistakenly.

1. Open your Mail app and go to the Mailboxes screen.

 

3. Select the Junk folder.

 

5. Tap the More button.

The message is moved to your Inbox. Subsequent email messages from HR Daily Advisor will no longer be marked as junk.


By default, messages in the Junk folder are deleted after 30 days so be sure to check it often to whitelist relevant email.

Outlook Mobile App

To add HR Daily Advisor to you list of Focused Inbox on the Outlook App, please open the mobile Outlook app on your Android, Microsoft or iPhone and open the the email from HR Daily Advisor and complete the following:

1. Click the dorpdown menu on the top right of your inbox.
 

4. Tap Move.
 

5. Now all future messages from HR Daily Advisor will appear in your Focused Inbox.

You can also remove unwanted emails from your Focused Inbox as well by repeating this process in your Focused tab.

Outlook 2003, Outlook 2016 and Outlook Office 365

To add HR Daily Advisor to you list of "Safe senders" on Outlook complete the following:
 

  1. Right click our email in your Inbox email list pane.
  2. On the menu displayed move your mouse over or tap Junk
  3. Click or tap on Never block sender in the menu that rolls out.
  4. The resulting popup will say:
    • "The sender of the selected message has been added to your Safe Senders List."
  5. Click OK.
     
To add sender to address book, complete the following:
 
  1. Open the email
  2. Right click on the from address
  3. Choose Add to contacts option

Inbox by Gmail

To make sure our email gets delivered to a preferred folder or your choice in Inbox, you must add HR Daily Advisor to your preferred folder, or a folder of your choice.


NOTE: "My Preferred Folder" is a demonstration. You must create your own My Preferred Folder by clicking + Create New yourself.


If you do not find an email from HR Daily Advisor in one of your Inbox bundles, please check your Inbox Spam Folder or your Promotions bundle.

1. Open the email from HR Daily Advisor.
 

2. Then click the elipses icon.

4. If you have not already created a My Preferred Folder, you may do so by clicking + Create new..."
 

5. You may also move HR Daily Advisor to any folder of your choice.
