Preventing Sexual Harassment—State-Specific

Many states now require sexual harassment training for managers and supervisors and, in some cases, employees, too.  We have you covered.  Scroll to learn more about training in California, Connecticut, Maine, and New York.

Preventing Sexual Harassment in California (AB1825)

This library includes both a video and nonvideo version of the training course.  The courses provide California employers with everything needed to satisfy California regulation AB1825, including a 2-hour minimum course length, interactive content, expert “help link,” and employee policy acknowledgment.  Fully updated for 2018!  A Spanish version is available as well.

Sexual Harassment Training for Supervisors and Employees in New York

The New York Human Rights Law (NYHRL) requires all employers to provide employees with interactive sexual harassment prevention training every year. This course helps employees and supervisors understand what sexual harassment is and how it affects people and the workplace, what can be done to prevent sexual harassment, and what must be done if it occurs.  This brand-new video training course will help meet these requirements.

Preventing Sexual Harassment in Connecticut

This course will cover statutes and regulations regarding Connecticut-specific training requirements for supervisors.  This course will train supervisors to be able to recognize sexual harassment claims, take them seriously, and plan how to handle such claims before they actually occur.

Preventing Sexual Harassment in Maine

This library consists of two courses—one for supervisors and one for employees—that will help employers comply with Maine’s Sexual Harassment training regulations. Under the regulations, employers with 15 or more employees must conduct an education and training program for new employees within 1 year of commencement of employment. The course also includes an antidiscrimination policy and a handout that describes how to file a complaint in Maine.
